Dream it be it
23 Seeds of Greatness in partnership with Soroptimist of Long Beach presented a Women’s Empowerment Conference with “Pathways in Bloom” and “Dream It, Be It” for young women ages 14 to 24. It brought together women of all generations to inspire unity, empowerment, and collaboration.
Featured speaker Lolita Coppage Founder of Everyday Women shared a powerful message on legacy, intergenerational mentorship, and celebrating each woman’s unique strengths—reinforcing a “we rise together” spirit where no woman walks alone.
Participants enjoyed an elegant afternoon tea, created a custom flower bouquet, spoke with professional women about their career goals, explored stress-management skills, and so much more.
Soroptimist dream it be it mentors
The women who volunteer with the Soroptimist International Dream It, Be It: Career Support for Girls program serve as positive role models and mentors who help girls envision and plan for successful futures. These volunteers are typically professional women from a variety of careers and industries who generously share their time, experiences, and guidance to support young women’s growth.
Their mentorship focuses on helping girls:

- Build confidence and leadership skills 🌱
- Set realistic goals and action plans 📘
- Develop life and professional skills such as communication, decision-making, and problem-solving 💼
- Overcome obstacles and believe in their potential ✨
Soroptimist mentors provide encouragement, real-world insight, and practical advice, often sharing their own personal and professional journeys. This helps participants see what is possible and understand the steps needed to pursue their dreams.
