Xi Sisters and Omega Brothers Program 2007-2025
What is XI & Omega
This program fosters leadership and community service. We offer:
- Monthly Motivational Talks: Focus on mental health and social-emotional learning, covering topics like perseverance, self-care, and mindfulness.
- Mindfulness Workshops: Monthly sessions for de-stressing, breathing techniques, and meditation.
- College and Career Guidance: Monthly presentations, application assistance, and field trips, including annual tours of Northern or Southern California colleges.
- Parent Night: Mid-year event for new member induction, showcasing student projects and awarding community service.
- Awards Banquet: End-of-year celebration with awards for all members and senior sashes, followed by a senior celebration in June.
- Engaging Activities: Monthly outings, on-campus events, community service projects, mental health learning, and leadership skill development.

XI Sisters
Founded in 2007 by student Annette Robertson, the Xi Sisters was created to be a supportive sisterhood modeled after a sorority. Annette's vision was for students to support each other through school and family crises, engage in service learning and community service projects, and stay college-bound with college tours and workshops, as well as fun and exciting field trips. The program received significant support from former Jordan High School Principal Rosalind Morgan, who brought in her sorority, Alpha Kappa Alpha, to help establish the Xi Sisters.
Omega Brothers
Founded by student Rudy Fifita, The Omega Brothers was inspired by the success of the Xi Sisters Program. Rudy envisioned a brotherhood for young men to serve alongside the Xi Sisters, fostering a supportive community and promoting leadership, service, and camaraderie.
